In "Granth Sahib" there are many "Slogs" written by our past "Gurus" which praises "Satguru". "Satguru" means a true teacher; "Sat" (true), "Guru" (teacher); or in "Sanskrit" it is defined as, "Gu" means darkness and "Ru" means light, which means "Satguru" who takes one outof darkness into light. He is enlightened person. In every step of life, we human beings need a teacher to teach us the truth of living. Our father and mother teach us since childhood and try to bring us up to become a good person. In every aspeacts of life we learn something from someone to lead our life to success. As from childhood our parents, at school our teacher, in college the professors then at work our elders or the boss. Regarding the fact of life and truthful living, as well as the truth beyond our life could only be disclosed by a true "Satguru". "Satguru" is the messiah between this world and the other truthful world, by listening and obeying his commands a person can enjoy all the world comfort and make a good place in the other world. True "Guru" has no difference from the almighty Lord, he is a part of the Supreme Lord who come in the form of Human Being and lead a normal and simple life. If one wish to see the almighty God in the human form, it could only be seen in a "Satguru". Despite having the Supreme power which can fulfill all the wishes, he still lives within the natural orders, as compared to a millionaire having a simple living without all the luxuries. "Satguru" looks after and cares for his disciples, as to make them happy in both the world. He gives us "Naam", which by reciting them we can all achieve the goal of our life. In our bad times only "Satguru" will be there to help us and guide us for our benefit. We "Namdharis" are really lucky since we are bestowed by a true, truthful, almighty "Satguru" since our birth. Throughout our life we have our "Satguru" who teaches us to keep us away from doing all the wrong things and makes us a true human being. At the end of our life again he is there to help us achieve the best place in the heavenly world. So, why not to recite again and again together |
